Our Mission
Our mission is to create art and build community through sustainable resources and practices. We aim to spark the individual and collaborative creativity that is within us all. Art inspires people to be calmer, kinder, more forgiving, and more open to opportunities. In our ever-tumultuous world, we seek to provide space for that creativity and to spread more love throughout humanity.
Who We Are
Lindsay McKelvey
For me it’s about the creating. It’s about the process as much as it is about the end product. I really like getting into a groove and seeing what happens. I went to art school, but I really believe everyone has an artist in them. To me it just comes naturally; I’m always creating something out of things I find or based on something that inspires me. I think it’s so cool to see what anyone can create when given the opportunity and the resources.
Andrea Sterling
Native Californian turned North Carolinian, I never want to be too far away from a coast or the woods. My greatest creative inspiration comes from the natural world, and I find joy in pulling that world into all forms of art, whether it be recreating misty trees in watercolor, preserving spring flowers in resin, or capturing the texture of fish scales in bas-relief. I love seeing what inspires others to create and what magic is born out of the sharing of those creations.
